Chylomicron Particles and The Transport of Fat in the Body

Fat particles are absorbed from the intestinal lumen via chylomicron particles. These particles consist largely of of triglycerides. As a matter of fact, 98 per cent of chylomicrons are triglyceride by weight! Chylomicrons are the form in which dietary fat is transported in the circulatory system.
